Selecting Participants & Scope

The participants & scope section determines who's going to participate in the review cycle, which include the below. If you are unfamiliar with how to choose the suitable scope, you can always use our templates which provides preselected scopes for the survey. Let's take a look at the different participants (person who will fill out the form):

• Self Assessment: Self assessment for participants. Each participant will write a self assessment.

• Direct Managers: As a manager, you will need to write an assessment of your direct report. The person you selected is the assessee and their direct manager is the participant.

• Direct Reports: You will need to write an assessment of your direct manager. The person you selected is the assessee and their direct report is the participant.

• Peers: You will need to write an assessment of your nominated colleague. The person you selected is the assessee and their nominated colleague is the participant

When launching the review, you can choose multiple scopes. For example, if you choose "Self Assessment" and "Managers" together, the participants include: (1) All assessees who need to write self assessments (2) Managers who need to write manager assessments for their direct reports.
