Objectives and Key Results (OKR) is a powerful goal-setting methodology that drives alignment, performance, results and transparency for your organization. As a department head or admin, you have the access to create department level goals.
To create a goal, go to the "My Goals" Page and click "Create Goal"
Step 1: select "Department" as the objective type
Then, select a department from the drop down menu
Step 2: Enter the details of the department objective:
- Title: Enter a title that is aspirational and qualitative
- Description(optional): Write a description to further explain the objective
- Owner: Department goals are usually owned by the whole department you have selected in the previous step by default. However, you can still add owners to the goal or remove default owners. Owners have write/edit/delete rights.
- Visibility: Objectives can be public (visible to the entire company) or private (only visible to you, other owners, owners' direct manager)
- Deadline: Enter the deadline for your objective. Per OKR practice, the default value is quarterly.
